We arrived late at night, approx. 12:30 a.m., and it took 30 minutes for us to check in due to long lines. There were several staff members milling around behind the desk who could have assisted in the check-in process. We called to confirm our room due to the late check-in, and they still could not provide us with a non-smoking room, a problem for other travelers as well. They told us we could switch rooms the next day, which we did. When we got into the second room, the bathroom counter had makeup from previous guests on it, and there was hair in the shower. We checked the sheets and found them stained and with hair on the pillows. We stopped by the front desk (again took over 10 minutes to speak with someone, and the check-in line was very long), and asked for the room to be cleaned. They apologized, but still offered no compensation for all the trouble. When we returned to the room, the bathroom counter was still dirty, and we had explicitly told the front desk it needed cleaning. The sheets had been changed, but not the blankets or comforter. Room service dishes were also in the hall for 24+ hours. Check out was easier, but we had seen long lines for it as well. Overall, the casino and hotel had a stale smoky smell to it. After being in other casinos, TI could definitely improve upon their ventilation. Having asthma and allergies, the prevalent smoke was an issue, aggravated by the smoking room the first night. The Khotan restaurant was excellent. The Coffee Shop restaurant is a misnomer--it's a full service restaurant that only serves coffee, cappuccino, and lattes. Nothing special as far as the coffee goes, but the food was good

Snowing in 49 states, with 12 inches on the ground in Central Ohio. My wife and I were looking for a 3 day/2 night escape from the real world. Treasure Island met all our needs. The hotel is very clean and the staff extremely helpful and friendly. Slots were tighter than Harrahs or Rivieria. Tables are at 5$ in the afternoon but increase to 10$ at night. Mystere is a must see show and 2 for 1 ticket price for Hotel guests is the icing on the cake. Location is prime. The buffet at Treasure Island needs an upgrade on offerings. We had the TI buffet and the buffet at Harrahs. Harrah's buffet had a better selection offering prime rib, shrimp and Alaskan King Crab legs. Only complaint was room service knocking on the door at 8 am on our check out morning. Must be their policy to get us up and moving, but is inconsiderate considering we needed to sleep to rest up for our last day and Vegas and red eye flight back east. The wife gives the hotel two thumbs up which means we would stay at TI again on our next trip to Vegas. The value received for the money spent is in balance. Tips -- we took the airport shuttle service instead of a cab, savings about half compared to a cab. Travel time is longer as you stop at other hotels. If you are going to show, tickets 4 half kioks on the strip are a great deal. You can save money on shows and meals with no strings attached. We stayed away from the time share offers as we did not have time to waste.

I go to LV every other year, and I always go to a different hotel. This year I stayed at TI, and I think from now on this will be the only place I stay. The room was beautiful, the bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in, and the room was spotless. The location is great (literally in the center of the strip.) The casino is large and open, and the staff was friendly everywhere. My only slight complaint is that their buffet needs some work. But the other restaurants were excellent. Didn't go to the pool due to weather conditions.

've been to Treasure Island many times but never as a hotel guest. The hotel was great and we did not have any problems. When I mentioned to someone that I couldn't figure out how to set the right time on the clock radio when we returned everything was OK. The hotel has a good variety of restaurants to choose from. You could always get a drink from one of the cocktail waitresses that went around the slot machines. Hotel security was good at night as you had to show your room key to gain access to the elevators. Their is a special viewing area for hotel guests so that you can watch the pirate show at night. The Duce bus that goes up the strip is near the hotel at the Mirage. The location is right across from the Vietnam hotel and the wax museum. Great fireworks on New Years eve from the roof of the hotel plus from other hotels. If you want to go to the Mirage their is a free shuttle between both hotels. Customer service was helpful with questions that we had about various things and helped in printing out are boarding passes for our return trip. I give Treasure Island 5*.

This hotel was excellent. It was in the middle of the strip, with easy access to everything in Las Vegas. The service was very good, and the rooms were very comfortable. My wife was impressed with the comfortable beds and the cleanliness of the entire hotel. We will stay again at the Treasure Island Hotel on our next visit to Las Vegas.
