My room was nothing like the photo it was a room from the mid 80's and they charge you for everything there internet per day and to even print your boarding pass to go home. It was clean but that is all it had going for it.

Not a good stay. There was a 45 minute wait to check in with only 4 people working. When we got up there they were so rude and told us we needed to use self check in, which was not working when we initially got in line. The room was dirty, the bathrooms were by far more disgusting than the actual room. Then, as we checked out they hit us with a $* check out fee that we were unaware of at check in. Not worth cheap rate.

When I booked online I chose King Bed and then when the confirmation came across it stated a King OR 2 double beds. When we got the hotel to check in at 3pm it was a 45 min wait of which the 4 days that we stayed there, there was always a wait. I suggest they have more staffing during check-in/check out times since there was only a couple of people there to help check in/check out. When we got up to the not so friendly, barely english speaking representative she was very rude and said that we have reservations for a double bed only of which we promptly showed her our confirmation that stated King OR 2 double beds. She then told us that if we wanted a King size bed that we had to pay an additional $*. per day. We were not happy about that at all!!! At that point what do you do? We just paid it, got our room of which was on the back side of the hotel with no view at all and away from absolutely everything!! When the rest of our party arrived at 9pm (3 other couples) they asked to all be placed together and were all given suites without an additional fee!!! We complained and went down to the same guy who gave our friends suites and he put us in one too which was nice. We do not like being mislead and although we did get the upgrade, I would definately not stay there again.

This is the fifth year we have stayed at the Riviera and as always it was great. For the money it is a great stay. The rooms are remodeled with comfortable beds and are smoke free. As always the staff are helpful and friendly. Mostly we enjoy the dealers in the casino, they are fun and don't take anything too seriously. The only negative -- stay away from the buffet. It is really bad. But ABC never disappoints if you are hungry.

This place will nickel and dime you. The price you pay is the price you get. If your looking for a place to sleep then go for it. If you want a hotel that actually understands customer service don't stay here. The riff raff in and around this place look like they just got out of jail or detox or both. The buffet is Gross! The place is dirty and reeks of the '70's. That is the last decade this place was clean. The hotel staff is flat yout rude!! Oh and when you check out they sock a $* a night service charge for the, "Ameneites." There are no amentites. This place is awful, go some place else.
